How We Designed, Developed & Integrated Cutting-Edge AI Models for Seamless Art Creation

Our team at Kueenz Technologies built the MVP of AI-powered art generation app, Creativerse. Leveraging text-to-image models and strategic backend architecture, we enabled users to create stunning artwork across various styles while offering both ad-supported and subscription-based revenue models.

Problem Statement

Kueenz Technologies envisioned an intuitive mobile app where users could effortlessly generate AI art in diverse styles.

Challenge

AI art generation required a robust backend design to handle a large text-to-image model and the selection of an appropriate GPU-based server.

Solution

1. API Design

A Python and FastAPI backend powered image generation (up to 1024x1024 resolution) using large text-to-image model, which is fine-tuned for diverse art styles. The MVP provides art generation with 80+ art styles.

2. Authentication & Image Generation

User authentication, secure image generation based on user prompts, and customization options.

3. Revenue Model

The business model of the application is based on a dual-tier system. First is the free, ad-supported version offering daily image credits that renew automatically. The second one is and unlimited generation via weekly/monthly subscriptions. The subscriptions are handled through Revenue Cat SDK and Google Play.

4. UI/UX

Clean, minimalist design using Figma.

5. Backend Architecture

The backend servers are on AWS EC2 GPU servers. Additional tools utilized while building the backend include Docker for containerization, Jenkins for CI/CD, S3 static storage, Nginx and Certbot.
